Sacramento Welcomes Two New Companies

Two national companies, TwinMed and GeoEngineers, recently selected the Sacramento, CA region for their expansion projects.

Engineering firm GeoEngineers, Inc. will open its 15th location nationally in the Cal Expo area of Sacramento. The Redmond, WA-based company will initially employ 10 people, with plans to expand quickly.

Santa Fe Springs, CA-based TwinMed, a national distributor of medical supplies, has leased 40,000 square feet in the Natomas area of Sacramento. The company—with locations in Southern California, Indiana, Illinois, New York, and Texas—needed to have a Northern California presence due to its growing market activity.

“We have received an excellent reception from the city of Sacramento and the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization,” says Vusa Mabhena, director of Operations for TwinMed. “The growth of the Sacramento Region, the Central Valley, and the San Francisco Bay Area was the major driver for our expansion decision. The Sacramento Region allows us to serve all these geographic areas efficiently and effectively.”
