The City of Redlands – known in 1900 as “The City of Millionaires” and later as “The City of Beautiful Homes” welcomes you! 

Founded in 1881 and incorporated in 1888, Redlands is a quintessential “big town” with a “small town” feel. For much of its history Redlands was the “Washington Navel Orange Growing Capital of the World” with the citrus industry as the main focus of its economy. Over a century later, Redlands still honors this industry but has undergone major transformations since its agricultural heyday. Redlands continues to flourish and offers exciting opportunities for businesses as it is perfectly situated at the base of San Bernardino mountains, about halfway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, on Interstate 10, within minutes of Interstate 210 and with train accessibility via Metrolink and Arrow train stations in the heart of the City.
