The City of Bell Gardens was incorporated as a general law city in 1961 and is as rich in history. It is bordered by the City of Commerce, Downey, South Gate and Bell. The City has a population of approximately 44, 000 in an area of 2.5 square miles and is located in the southeastern part of Los Angeles County.
